The Official Golden Jubilee Emblem

In addition to printed items, the emblem may be applied to souvenirs, flags, signing systems, fabrics badges, in fact any item relevant to the celebrations. Inevitably this will require a variety of production techniques, ranging from engraving (where the application of colour would be inappropriate) to sewn fabric (where colours need to be matched as closely as possible).

There are four versions of the emblem, in English and Welsh, your choice depending upon cost and media factors:

  • Single colour black on white
  • Single colour white reversed out of black
  • Gold crown, purple surround lettering
  • Purple background, gold crown, white reversed out surround lettering

Colour specifications:

  • Gold - Pantone 137 (Magenta 35% + Yellow 90%)
  • Purple - Pantone 2612 (Cyan 79% + Magenta 100% + Black 9%)
  • Gold leaf, printing ink or blocking can also be used for the crown

The emblem should not be redrawn or re-constituted. It may be downloaded or provided by e-mail on request to the Golden Jubilee Office. For general queries on the use of the emblem and e-mail copies of the design, please contact:

Hard copy artwork, disks or transparencies are available from Nicholas Jenkins. Specific enquiries about the application and implementation should be addressed to:
