The fact that none of the clubs will be hosting dance tents at any other London festivals means that if you like the best dance music then this is the ONLY festival for you this summer.' Atelier/Coco Latté promoter Nicholas Chrisostomou said; 'Given that I have been involved with Purple Radio and Purple In The Park since inception, I am naturally very proud and excited for my club nights Coco Latté and Atelier, to be hosting a big top at this summer's premier gay and lesbian festival. We have some fabulous surprises in store for you. Purple In The Park will redefine the expectations of London's party people, and so I am honoured to be a part of that.' We have always enjoyed being part of this event in the past and look forward to its long awaited revival in June. Thanks Purple Radio!' G-A-Y promoter Jeremy Joseph said; 'Having one of the biggest tents at Purple In The Park, G-A-Y is going to give you so much pop that the park will be bursting at the seams. The inclusion of these dance tents, an outdoor live stage, a white knuckle fun fair and London's biggest collection of gay market stalls means space on site has been limited to an attendance of 50,000 only. Festival Director Kim Lucas commented "We expect sales to be very strong in advance as people will plan ahead for the Queen's Jubilee weekend. We have also encouraged the early birds by offering a discounted ticket for a limited period of just £15. We really want to make sure we deliver the best event possible and we have therefore restricted attendance in our first year to 50,000. The first event is always special no matter who you are, and coupled with the unique double bank holiday weekend means this will be a memorable celebration for a lot of people; we are happy to take on that responsibility as organisers and have set high standards for ourselves to achieve."
