SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association) Forces Help is the national military charity helping serving and ex-service men, women and their families in need. Through a network of more than 7,000 trained volunteers, 500 in-service volunteers on HM bases around the world and over 400 health and social care professionals in the UK and overseas, the Association helps over 100,000 people each year. We estimate that one quarter of the population is eligible for our help. Our array of services includes welfare assistance, friendship visits, financial support, housing, family support and professional social work and health care services.
